Yesterday, my heart was full.
Over 30 bright, curious, and energetic young people from By The Hand Club for Kids were bused in to visit One Stop Beauty School. From the moment they stepped off the bus, it was clear—we weren’t just going to introduce them to the beauty industry. We were going to plant seeds of possibility.
We opened the visit with a powerful panel featuring some of the most inspiring professionals in the personal service industry. Each of these leaders shared their unique journey—where they started, what they’ve overcome, and why they’ve committed their lives to this work. Their transparency, passion, and encouragement made a lasting impression on every student in the room.
🌟 Meet the Panelists:
Cecilia Hernandez – Licensed Nail Technician, Founder of Venting Nails LLC
Melinda Price – Licensed Nail Technician & Instructor, Author, and Founder of Tre’Bella Nail Spa
Anastasiia Rozdobutko – Founder of Banana Nails Salons & Supply, Organizer of America’s Beauty Show Nail Competition
Ariel Griffin – Founder of Adore Beauty & Nails, Author of The Light In You That Deserves to Shine
Andrew Guyant – Founder of Glo Nail Salon & Med Spa
Allyse Marie – Founder of AM Nail Lounge, V Beauty Pure Ambassador
After the panel, we broke into three dynamic, interactive stations:
💼 Where Do I Start? – Career Pathways in the Personal Service Industry
Students learned about the diverse opportunities within beauty—from nail technology to skincare to entrepreneurship—and how licensing and education unlock those doors.
🎯 There’s No Business Without Marketing – Branding & Pitch Practice
Each student created a pitch for their dream business and practiced how to brand themselves. It was incredible to hear how they spoke about their passions and purpose with confidence and creativity.
💅🏾 Polish Like a Pro / Massage Their Stress Away – Hands-On Station
This was where the fun met the finesse! Students chose to either learn professional polish techniques or master the art of hand massage. Both activities taught attention to detail, client care, and pride in the work you do.
This day wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible panelists who showed up for these kids. Some drove hours just to be here—and their presence made all the difference.
To everyone who made this day happen: thank you for helping create a space where young people felt seen, valued, and inspired.
To the students: we’re rooting for you. Always!
With heart and hustle,
💖Bibi
